Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects seeks a seasoned GIS leader to drive geospatial initiatives for transportation and infrastructure programs. You will design, implement, and govern GIS solutions using ArcGIS Pro/Online, Esri tools, and FME, transforming data into decision-ready visuals for stakeholders.

Lead projects, mentor teams, and ensure data integrity through robust ETL processes and BIM-GIS integration (ACC).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in GIS, geography, urban planning, or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional GIS experience, with expertise in transportation infrastructure.
• Minimum of four years of GIS experience with Esri technologies.
• Understanding of CAD data for maps and data formats.
• Experience leading GIS projects or teams and coordinating delivery.
• Advanced proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise/Online, Esri Experience Builder, Esri Story Maps, Survey123, Field Maps, ArcGIS Dashboards.
• Expertise in ArcGIS Pro and QGIS for processing and visualization.
• Strong ETL skills with FME for data transformation and automation.
• BIM data integration experience with ACC and GIS/BIM publishing capabilities.
• Excellent communication and ability to present complex analyses.

Responsibilities

• Lead GIS initiatives across multiple projects, aligning with objectives.
• Update GIS roadmaps, resource planning, risk management, and delivery oversight.
• Design and implement GIS solutions using ArcGIS tools for transportation projects.
• Develop web apps with Esri tools to support stakeholder engagement.
• Integrate CAD, GPS, and tabular data via ETL processes and maintain geodatabases.
• Automate GIS workflows with Python (ArcPy), FME, and Power Automate.
• Process LiDAR, generate DTMs, and utilize orthophotos for analyses.
• Create 3D maps and dynamic layers for advanced visualization.
• Mentor GIS team and establish governance and best practices.
• Communicate analyses to non-technical stakeholders for strategic decisions.
