Job summary

Accenture is seeking a GIS Lead in Ontario to guide GIS initiatives across transportation and infrastructure projects, delivering ArcGIS Online/Enterprise solutions and data integration across CAD, BIM, and GIS datasets.

You will mentor the GIS team, set standards, and partner with data engineers to transform spatial data into actionable insights for major infrastructure programs. Hybrid work model with competitive CAD salary range.

Qualifications

10+ years of professional GIS experience in transportation infrastructure.
4+ years of relevant GIS experience with Esri Technologies.
Experience leading GIS projects or teams, including planning and delivery.
Advanced proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise/Online, Esri Experience Builder, Esri Story Maps, Survey123, Field Maps, ArcGIS Dashboards.

Responsibilities

Lead the prioritization and delivery of GIS initiatives across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with business and client objectives.
Support updates to GIS roadmaps and implementation strategies, including resource planning, prioritization, risk management, and delivery oversight.
Design and implement GIS solutions using ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise, transforming complex data into dynamic web-based visualizations for transportation and infrastructure projects.
Develop advanced web applications using Esri Experience Builder, Esri Story Maps, Esri Dashboards, and other ArcGIS tools to support stakeholder engagement and decision-making.
Integrate spatial and tabular data through robust ETL processes using tools such as FME and ArcGIS, convert data between formats (CAD to Shapefile), and maintain data accuracy in multi-user environments.
Extract, clean, validate, and structure geospatial data from internal and external sources for transportation infrastructure projects.
Automate GIS workflows and data processing tasks using Python (ArcPy), FME, and Power Automate to streamline processes.
Process LiDAR datasets, generate DTMs, and utilize orthophotos for mapping, spatial analysis, and visualization.
Create thematic, analytical, and 3D maps by applying graphical standards and integrating dynamic layers for advanced analyses.
Lead the GIS team, mentoring and establishing best practices, standards, governance across projects.
