Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer Lead to support a major digital transformation initiative for a leading bank. This 12-month contract may extend or convert to full-time, with a strong emphasis on Java-based full stack development and cloud-native practices.

The ideal candidate will manage multiple teams, drive high-quality code, and work across offshore groups in a complex enterprise environment, leveraging AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD to modernize the digital experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Java-based full stack development.
• Development team management experience.
• Hands-on experience with Java, APIs, and backend development.
• Experience with AWS (Lambda, APIs, containerization, IAM, and security) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Terraform or IaC and platform modernization initiatives.

Insight Global is hiring for a Senior Full Stack Developer Lead to support a major digital transformation initiative within a leading bank. This role is for an upcoming vacancy and will be a 12-month contract with possibility of extension and/or conversion to full-time permanent.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software engineering, experience delivering within complex enterprise environments, the ability to write high-quality code while leading multiple teams and work streams.

This role will support a broader transformation effort aimed at modernizing/migrating the digital experience and improving responsiveness, operational efficiency, and business value delivery. As part of this initiative, the engineering team is working within a modernizing cloud environment with growing emphasis on AWS, containerization, Terraform, and CI/CD practices.
