Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a senior full-stack developer with 6-8 years of experience to build enterprise-scale applications. The role centers on a React-focused frontend, with prior Angular and Java-based backend experience to deliver modern, scalable, cloud-native solutions.

Job Overview

The position is for a senior full-stack developer with 6-8 years of experience, specializing in building enterprise-scale applications. This role is suited for a strongReact-focused full stack developerwith prior experience inAngular and Java-based backend systems, contributing to modern, scalable, and cloud-native applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack applications with a focus onReact.js and modern UI architecture
• Core Skills: Expert-level proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (React.js/Angular), JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Modernize legacyAngular applications into React-based solutions
• Develop backend services usingJava (17+), Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
• Proven experience building RESTful web services and API gateways, such as Apigee
• Build and maintain event-driven data pipelines with real-time data processing using Kafka.
• Database Integration: Integrate applications with both SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases, utilizing caching solutions where appropriate.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Harness or Tekton.
• Integrate withOracle and NoSQL databases(MongoDB)
• Standards: Knowledge of responsive design principles, accessibility (ADA compliance), and end-to-end UI deployment strategies.
• Proficiency with build tools like Maven or Gradle and unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito).
• SupportCI/CD pipelinesusing Jenkins, TeamCity, or similar tools
• Work withDocker, Kubernetes, and OpenShiftfor containerized deployments
• UseAI-assisted development tools(e.g., GitHub Copilot) to enhance productivity
• Monitor applications usingELK, Grafana, and resolve production issues
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain large-scale data processing applications.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience with data virtualization systems like Starburst.
• Experience with Python for scripting or data manipulation.
• Experience with QA automation frameworks and strategies for large-scale data processing.
• Familiarity with job scheduling tools like Autosys or ETL processes like SSIS.
