Qualifications

• RPF designation in good standing with the BC forestry association.
• Minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
• Experience engaging with Indigenous nations and communities.
• Residence in Castlegar, Nelson, Salmo, Kaslo or West Kootenay areas.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, road building, harvesting and silviculture, including negotiations, safety and First Nations relations across three tenures.
• Manage and recruit a skilled woodlands staff; report to the President.
