Brighter Staffing Agency is seeking an experienced Landscape Supervisor in Burnaby to lead field crews and oversee daily landscaping operations. You will ensure safety, quality workmanship, and on-schedule project delivery while managing multiple sites and client expectations.

The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to train and develop crew members. Experience in landscaping with irrigation knowledge is preferred; valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in landscaping.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, motivate, and support a team of landscapers to ensure projects are completed efficiently and professionally.
  • Plan, organize, and assign daily work schedules to maximize productivity and meet project deadlines.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship, safety compliance, and client satisfaction.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members to promote skill development and high performance.
  • Operate, inspect, and coordinate maintenance of landscaping equipment and tools.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand project requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.
  • Monitor inventory levels of landscaping materials, tools, and supplies, and coordinate replenishment as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all workplace health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
  • Track project progress, prepare reports, and assist with scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and developing new team members.
  • Perform additional supervisory and operational duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Landscape Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily landscaping operations, leading field crews, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.   • Proven leadership, team management, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Working Conditions
  • Primarily outdoor work in various weather conditions.
