Job summary

Baker Hughes invites graduates to join the Early Career Program: Field Engineering, a 36-month immersive track that places you in the field with customers to locate and produce energy more efficiently.

As a FIELD ENG I - CTS, you will coordinate with crews, analyze data, support tenders, and learn from leaders while developing leadership and technical skills in real-world sites across Canada.

Qualifications

  • Graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (all fields), Engineering Technology, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geosciences, or similar, within the last 12 months.
  • Maximum of one year work experience post-degree.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 (or equivalent).
  • Fluent in written and spoken English with excellent communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills with teamwork and the ability to guide others.
  • Demonstrate leadership, critical thinking, numerical skills, data analysis and project management abilities.

Early Career Program: Field Engineering

This program takes approximately 36 months to complete and gets you involved in helping clients locate and produce energy more efficiently.   • Have achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0 (or equivalent)

  • Demonstrate good leadership, critical thinking, and numerical skills as well as data analysis and project management abilities.


Eligibility and Work Authorization

Applicants must reside in Canada and be legally authorized to work in Canada Full-Time. Baker Hughes is NOT able to provide (or take over) sponsorship for immigration or work visas for this position. Some international travel to the United States or other countries may be required for training and orientation (may include 8-12 consecutive weeks of training). The ability to obtain work authorization for countries outside of Canada will be required. Inability to obtain work authorization for international travel may preclude your ability to participate in early career programs. Possess a valid Class 5 Alberta driver's license (for a minimum of 2 years) or equivalent out of province license and excellent driving record.
