Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in related discipline or trade experience or equivalent.
• 8 years of progressive experience in construction cost estimating, and 6–12 months of on-site experience is preferred.
• Led pursuits valued up to $150 million in various delivery methods.
• Knowledge of different construction methods; planning, scheduling, sequencing, quality, safety, and timelines.
• Experience estimating multiple scopes, with the capability of building conceptual estimates.

Responsibilities

• Leads medium-to-large estimates or components of large estimates and is accountable for that specific scope of work.
• Conducts detailed analysis of contract documents and specifications to determine and validate overall project requirements.
• Ensures completion of full quantity take-offs of all labor, equipment, and materials from project documents.
• Leads development of conceptual estimate proposals and presentations to support construction management and design-build pursuits.
• Coordinates with internal departments and external parties to create site logistics, a schedule, an execution plan, and project budget requirements.
