Job summary

Wabtec is seeking a Manager, Software (Embedded & Digital Products) in Canada to lead a multidisciplinary software organization focused on embedded systems, digital platforms, and backend services. You will shape the software roadmap, manage budgets, and drive product-line strategies across multiple domains.

You will collaborate with product management, hardware, quality, cybersecurity, and sales to deliver reliable rail-electronics solutions. Travel to customer sites is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of progressive software engineering experience.
• At least three years leading software teams or programs.
• Experience leading embedded software development and at least one of: cloud/backend platforms, data platforms, or software test automation.

Responsibilities

• Shape the software product vision, roadmap, and investment plan for embedded and digital products.
• Lead Embedded Software, Digital Platforms and Backend, UX, and Validation functions.
• Develop a modular software platform across Monitoring, Test Equipment, Locomotive Control Systems, and related products.
