Job summary
WSP Canada is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to shape the next generation of mission critical data centers across Canada. You will lead design and delivery of critical power systems, serve as Engineer of Record, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure resilient, scalable infrastructure for AI, HPC and enterprise clients.
You will champion BIM and digital engineering practices, contribute to client engagement and business development, and travel within Canada to support project
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- P.Eng. license with Ontario/Alberta/BC.
- 12+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience in mission critical and data center projects.
- Experience as Engineer of Record on complex building projects.
- Expertise in critical power systems including utility services, medium-voltage distribution, switchgear, standby generation, UPS, grounding, and monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and delivery of mission critical electrical systems for data center projects.
- Serve as Engineer of Record with technical leadership throughout project lifecycles.
- Drive innovative power infrastructure, resiliency, and energy efficiency.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated facilities.
- Champion BIM and digital engineering in project delivery.
- Support clients as trusted technical advisor and pursue business growth.
