Job summary

The Government of Nova Scotia is seeking a Manager, Educator Services in Halifax to lead educator-facing services within EECD. You will oversee educator classification, bursary administration, and digital service delivery, ensuring timely, accurate responses to inquiries and service requests.

You will collaborate with the Director and partners to strengthen workforce development and service quality in a high-volume, public-facing program.

Qualifications

• Experience leading programs, services, or operational teams in public sector or related environments.
• Ability to balance policy requirements with service delivery and accountability.
• Strong communication, planning, and process improvement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for educator-facing services, including classification and bursary administration.
• Oversee day-to-day service delivery and timely responses to inquiries and requests.
• Develop policies, procedures, and service standards to ensure consistency and quality.
• Coordinate with internal partners and external stakeholders to resolve complex issues.
• Lead staff through coaching, workload management, and priority setting.
