Job summary

Burly Boyz Moving & Storage is hiring experienced commercial drivers to run our 3, 5 and 7-ton trucks and lead a moving crew in Edmonton. You own the customer’s home and furniture from first pad to last signature, and you are responsible for the result.

We are hiring for people who can do that better than most, and we are paying for it. Full-time, with 45–50 hour weeks on average, early starts, and a performance-based raise system.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years paid commercial driving experience in Canada (5-tonne or larger).
• Class 5 license or higher held for 3+ years.
• Clean abstract with no at-fault collisions in 3 years, no suspensions or impaired charges.
• Proven leadership on a crew or job site with accountability for outcomes.
• Clear written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks safely in residential and urban Edmonton, with out-of-town and long-distance runs.
• Lead the crew on site — assign work, set the pace, train helpers, ensure quality first time.
• Complete daily pre-trip inspections, report defects, and maintain accurate E-logs.
• Protect the customer’s home and goods during loading and unloading.
• Handle invoicing, payment collection, and on-site customer questions.
