Position Purpose:

Responsible for designing and delivering enterprise-scale technology solutions that align with business goals. This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex transformations. The architect will partner with stakeholders across IT and business domains to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.

• Develops strong relationships within the BU (Business Unit) and technology leaders as well as within application teams to become an expert in the intersection between the BU and the applications which support it

• Architect and implement end-to-end solutions across cloud, desktop, and collaboration platforms

• Mentor domain architects and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence

• Ensure adherence to architectural standards, security policies, compliance frameworks and representation in architecture review boards

• Provides planning, analysis, guidance, and definition of a business architecture that effectively supports the business strategy

• Architects and designs comprehensive technology supporting business solutions that meet BU requirements on high-impact projects

• Applies broad knowledge of Centene’s business capabilities and service offerings to develop a portfolio of solution alternatives that can be refined, enhanced, or tailored to meet specific needs for their respective customers

• Aligns the organizational goals and capability implications with the required organizational change, including staff, role, reporting and size impacts

• Ensures the target state business process supports the capability requirements

• Consults with business, data, and technical subject matter experts to identify how a given business architecture can support these goals

• Performs other duties as assigned

• Complies with all policies and standards

Education/Experience:

A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and requires 5 – 7 years of related experience.
Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.

Technical Skills:

• One or more of the following skills are desired.

• Experience with End User Computing, M365 Collaboration and Content, Automation and Productivity AI, Communication and Messaging, Client Virtualization, Client Application Enablement
  Knowledge of Other: Cyber Security, Identity and Access technology and process, and MS Entra

Pay Range: $119,100.00 - $220,500.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
