Job summary

AECOM Ottawa is seeking an on-site Deputy Design Quality Manager to drive quality across the Alexandra Bridge Replacement Project. You will supervise the Technical Quality Review Process, ensure deliverables meet standards, and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams throughout design and construction planning phases.

The role requires a P.Eng in Ontario or eligibility, 8+ years of infrastructure experience, and strong leadership in quality systems and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• P.Eng. in Ontario is required or eligible.
• 8+ years in quality management for infrastructure design projects.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and CSA standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical supervision of the Design Quality Review Process during design and detail phases.
• Oversee QA/QC for major project submissions and coordinate technical staff.
• Lead development and implementation of quality systems and related initiatives.
• Mentor junior engineers, technicians, and inspectors in quality practices.
• Maintain revisions to the Design Quality Management Plan and related construction plans.
• Provide regular training to the design team.
