Job summary

BMO Financial Group seeks a Lead Data Engineer to lead enhancement of Ab Initio ETL applications and design modern ETL/ELT pipelines as part of migration to AWS. You will provide hands-on technical leadership, guide Agile delivery, and mentor engineers while ensuring platform stability.

You will architect data ingestion, transformation patterns using AWS services, and drive performance improvements in data pipelines aligned with governance standards.

Qualifications

• Requires 5–7 years of data engineering, ETL development, or data platform design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Strong hands-on Ab Initio experience and data governance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enhancement and ownership of Ab Initio ETL applications.
