Job Summary

We are seeking an SRE automation engineer to join the Enterprise Change Management Transformation & Strategy team. This role involves building automation solutions to streamline IT Change Management processes, enhance user experience, and support business growth. The engineer will work with ITIL technologies such as ServiceNow, Tableau, and custom applications, leveraging automation-driven control monitoring and assurances. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact beyond traditional SRE roles, utilizing industry best practices.

Responsibilities

1. Automate processes using Python, JavaScript, or similar languages; identify efficiency opportunities and support continuous integration.
2. Maintain and enhance existing automation applications; initiate new automation projects to improve change management efficiency.
3. Create and maintain ML and generative AI models.
4. Gather user requirements, develop specifications, and design, develop, and test applications.
5. Develop new features to meet evolving business needs.
6. Ensure application performance, uptime, and scalability; uphold high standards for code quality and design.
7. Maintain TSS compliance across environments, address vulnerabilities.
8. Lead automation use case implementations and support SRE processes and standards.
9. Participate in meetings and training to stay updated on new technologies and deployments.

Minimum Requirements

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and NoSQL database programming.
• Experience analyzing data with Python libraries like Numpy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn.
• Experience creating and maintaining Tableau dashboards.
• Skills in developing, testing, troubleshooting automation scripts using REST APIs.
• Experience with DevOps CI pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins, Helios) and security protocols.
• Ability to create intuitive User Interfaces.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Experience with code reviews, testing, and process analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with ELK stack monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of ITSM and SRE tools like PagerDuty.
• Experience with ServiceNow development environment.
