A leading company in the Canadian wine and beverage industry seeks a dynamic Team Lead to enhance customer experience in a retail environment. This role involves training and developing team members, overseeing operations, and driving sales success. Candidates should possess a strong background in retail leadership and Smart Serve certification.

We are currently recruiting a dynamic Team Lead to help lead and deliver exceptional customer service, coaching and developing of team members and performing administrative responsibilities in support of the Store Manager. This leadership role will work alongside the Store Manager to oversee store operations.
What You'll Be Doing:
Oversee store operations in the absence of the Store Manager, including providing work direction to Wine Merchants
Meet and exceed sales targets, including coaching the team on achieving their goals
Implement and monitor store policies and procedures
Perform additional administrative functions including product ordering, receiving, merchandising, recording inventory write-offs and inventory counting.
Assisting with the training and coaching of team members
Role model the execution of our Customer Experience programs
Job Requirement:
Minimum 2 years retail experience with 1 year retail leadership
Smart Serve certification
Essential Duties include selling, customer wine sampling, registering sales, cash handling, wine handling (deliveries, case transfers, stocking shelves), and general cleaning.
Physical demands of the job include lifting up to 21 kilograms, standing, reaching, bending and climbing ladders
Must be 19 years of age or older. High School or equivalent education required.
Smart Serve is required
Evening, weekend and holiday shifts required
