Job summary

Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB) in Ontario is seeking a Lead Custodian on a permanent basis. The role is 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, with shift as required. Posting # CU-63.

Testing will be required during the selection process. Applicants must have two years of custodian experience, strong leadership and organizational skills, and be able to communicate with supervisors, staff, students, and the public.

Qualifications

• Two years experience as a custodian or related work.
• Shall possess good leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate and co-operate with supervisors, fellow workers, students, staff and the public.
• Ability to fill out requisitions and related forms using computer software such as Excel, MS Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to direct a work crew and plan and schedule their workload.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Computer literacy sufficient to operate Facility Services building systems and Maintenance Order Systems would be an asset.
