Job summary

VINCI's Deep-Water Intake Group in Canada is hiring a Senior Draftsman/Draftswoman to produce and coordinate technical drawings for major civil engineering projects. You will act as a liaison among drafting teams, engineers and construction teams to ensure accuracy, constructibility and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include leading drafters, developing site drawings from engineering inputs, and preparing drawings for earthworks, utilities and temporary works using AutoCAD or Revit.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of construction site drafting experience.
• 10–15 years of AutoCAD and Revit experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate drawings.
• Leadership and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Act as interface between the Drafting team, Method Manager, Design Engineers.
• Lead and mentor drafters, providing technical guidance and support to develop team capabilities.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between multidisciplinary teams.
• Create drawings from scratch, based on engineering inputs, site conditions, and project specifications.
• Draw site installations with logistics and liftings operations.
• Prepare drawings for utilities, traffic, dewatering drawings.
• Develop temporary works drawings, including formwork details.
• Ensure drawings are accurate and correspond to project requirements.
• Revise drawings based on feedback and changes in project scope.
• Use CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) to produce high-quality plans.
• Prepare drawings related to earthworks, civil works, TBM and SEM tunnelling sequences, and interfaces.
• Produce drawings and technical inputs for civil works, including casting sequences and reinforcement design requirements.
• Prepare excavation sequence drawings involving secant piles, soldier piles, tension piles, rock anchors, struts, and walers.
• Provide drafting support for permit applications and approvals.
