BWXT Canada Ltd. in Cambridge, ON is seeking an Intermediate Design Draftsperson for a 1-year contract to develop and maintain CAD drawings, 3D models, sketches and detailed layouts, coordinating with Project and Manufacturing Engineering.

The role includes SAP requisition entry, adherence to drafting standards, and mentoring other drafters. Candidates should have 3+ years of drafting experience, GD&T knowledge, and a technical accreditation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of drafting experience in a similar role.
• Must understand objectives of professional staff with guidance from engineers.
• Accreditation from a technical school or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Create complex solid models and detailed drawings.
• Enter requisitions and structures into SAP under Engineering direction.
• Liaise with other departments, customers, vendors and sales office as instructed.
• Assist in developing drafting standards and CAD enhancement tools.
