Job summary

Jack Morton is seeking a Lead Carpenter for Custom Exhibits and Experiential Events. You’ll join the Production team to build cabinetry, millwork, exhibits, and specialty pieces that bring brands to life.

You will lead craftsmanship on diverse projects, mentor peers, read CAD drawings, and solve fabrication challenges with precision. This role emphasizes hands-on leadership and top-tier workmanship.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional cabinet making, millwork, finish carpentry, or related trade.
• Strong experience with high-end custom fabrication.
• At least 1 year of experience leading projects or mentoring others.
• Able to read shop drawings, blueprints, and CAD plans.
• Advanced skills with woodworking machinery and power tools.
• Experience with varied wood products and materials.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple builds and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and finish premium cabinetry, millwork, exhibits, and components.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, CAD plans, and specs.
• Use advanced woodworking techniques and equipment.
• Work with wood, laminates, veneers, and substrates.
• Inspect and ensure quality, durability, and fit.
• Lead projects on the shop floor and mentor others.
