Microworks Handyman Ltd is seeking a Lead Carpenter to perform residential carpentry, repairs, and installations. You will operate independently from a company-provided, high-roof Ford Transit van and earn commissions on on-site upgrades.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a general residential Carpenter (repairs, installations, and light carpentry).
• Ability to work independently, manage time, and adjust scope for efficiency.
• Strong communication and professional presentation with customers.
• Clean driving record and comfort driving a full-size van.

Responsibilities

• Complete a diverse range of residential repairs, installations, carpentry, drywall touch-ups, trim and small fixes.
• Identify additional on-site work opportunities and present clear add-ons to earn commissions.
• Manage your route and time, keeping the van organized and job-ready.
• Deliver 5-star service with proactive homeowner communication and clean job sites.
• Log notes, updates, and photos in the CRM to close out projects smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing

• Complete Diverse Projects: Handle a wide range of residential repairs, installations, carpentry, drywall touch-ups, trim, rot repair, minor painting, and assembly.
• Boost Your Earnings: Confidently identify additional work opportunities during homeowner walkthroughs, present the scope/materials, and close on-site add-ons to earn your commission bonuses.
• Run Your Route: Work independently with strong time management, keeping your van safe, organized, and job-ready.
• Deliver 5-Star Service: Communicate proactively with homeowners, set clear expectations, and maintain clean job sites and premium workmanship.
• Stay Organized: Utilize our intuitive CRM to easily log notes, job updates, and photos to seamlessly close out projects.

What You Bring To The Table

• Strong, proven experience as a general residential Carpenter (repairs, installations, and light carpentry).
• The ability to work independently, manage your own time, and make smart decisions regarding efficiency and project scope.
• Excellent communication skills with a professional, clean appearance and the confidence to present scope adjustments and add-on services.
• A clean driving record and comfort safely driving and parking a full-size high-roof van.
