Job summary

Dance Lounge in Markham, Ontario is hiring a Junior Ballroom & Latin Instructor in the Leader Role. No prior ballroom teaching experience is required as professional training is provided, and you will focus on learning the leader role in partnered dancing.

Ideal candidates are movement-based with a background in dance or performance, outgoing and reliable, and eager to develop a long-term professional career through private lessons, group classes, performances, and competitions.

Qualifications

• No ballroom teaching experience required; professional training is provided.
• Strong movement ability and willingness to learn ballroom-specific techniques.
• Outgoing, personable, reliable, and professional; able to work with adults in lessons.

Responsibilities

• Train to become a professional Ballroom & Latin Instructor (Leader).
• Teach private lessons and group classes when ready; assist performances and showcases.
• Support students in private lessons, group classes, performances, and competitions.
• Develop as a leader by guiding partnered dancing and stage performances.
