Job summary
The Department of National Defence – Canadian Coast Guard in Ottawa seeks a bilingual Team Leader, Avionics Maintenance to lead a dedicated team of avionics technicians ensuring Coast Guard aircraft are safe, reliable and ready for operation.
Ideal candidates will hold a valid AME Category E licence and have extensive experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of aircraft avionics systems, with a proven track record in leading installation, modification, testing and repair activities.
Qualifications
- Valid AME Category E licence is required.
- Experience maintaining and troubleshooting aircraft avionics systems.
- Experience leading a team responsible for avionics installation, modification, testing, and repair.
- Bilingualism (English & French) is required.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of avionics technicians to ensure safety, reliability, and operational readiness of Coast Guard aircraft.
- Oversee avionics installation, modification, testing, and repair activities.
- Collaborate with regulatory and safety teams to ensure compliance and timely maintenance.
