Job summary

Voyageur Aviation Corp. is seeking an Aircraft Certification Authority, Avionics (Trenton, Ontario) to sign off on completed maintenance of aircraft components. The role requires a valid AME License (Category E), a college diploma in Aircraft Maintenance, and at least three years of AME experience.

The position is based in Trenton, ON, with worldwide deployments of eight weeks or less. You will be responsible for major/minor modifications to electronic systems, troubleshooting, and ensuring

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical publications.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Complete tasks accurately and efficiently with a high attention to detail.
  • Capable of working under pressure with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Accompany aircraft worldwide to deliver first-class support.
  • Carry out major and minor modifications to electronic systems per manuals and data.
  • Troubleshoot aircraft systems and components to diagnose problems and perform repairs.
  • Perform and document scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety of work environment.
  • Assign and schedule tasks for Technicians and AMEs.
  • Oversee projects and mentor crew members.
  • Ensure maintenance operations comply with Transport Canada regulations.
  • Observe safety practices and company policies.
