Job summary

Davey Tree Expert Co. of Canada, Limited in Nisku, Alberta, seeks a Crew Leader to guide a crew across multiple job sites, ensuring safety, quality and customer satisfaction. You will mentor newer team members, provide expert arboriculture guidance, and be the main client contact. Must have arborist experience and ISA certification with valid license. Competitive hourly wage and full benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as an Arborist.
• ISA certification or enrollment in arboriculture program.
• Valid provincial driver’s license. Licensed to drive a 5-ton vehicle and air brake endorsement is an asset.
• Ability to safely direct a team at heights and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong tree, knot and shrub identification skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently lead a crew in providing arboricultural care for clients.
• Directs crew members and equipment; plan and execute assigned work/tasks.
• Supervise and assist in maintenance, preparation and operation of tools and equipment.
• Perform all aspects of tree pruning and removal safely and skillfully.
• Provide expert tree trimming services and inspections to client properties.
• Manage customer service expectations.
• Abide by safety policies and procedures.
