Your role
The Manager, Project Management and Operations will be primarily responsible for managing the team of multi-platform project managers, whose mandate is to execute all elements of a creative media campaign, accompanying the advertiser through all stages of the project.
Specifically, this includes:
Supporting the team by ensuring an equitable distribution of projects according to territories and individual strengths.
Putting in place efficient processes to facilitate the management of all types of products.
Create or provide the tools necessary for the team to function effectively and collaborate with the Media Solutions team and other areas of CBC/Radio-Canada.
Develop strategies to help teams build and maintain strong business relationships with Media Solutions clients.
Take the lead on management of large scale branded content campaigns.
Foster a mindset of collaboration, agility and achievement of objectives set at the beginning of the year by the Media Solutions group.
You will also be responsible for the operations of the Content & Partnership Marketing team, developing and implementing processes that allow the marketing, project management and production teams to work well together and meet advertiser needs. In addition, you will be the point of contact for the B2B team to develop documentation for content parameters and technical specifications for creative products.
You will work closely with the various internal sectors of CBC/Radio-Canada, including the TV, audio and digital program teams, communications, scheduling, the legal department, regulatory affairs and other departments as needed, to deliver projects and establish internal collaboration tools. You will be called upon for your expertise and sense of fairness to ensure the delivery of advertisers' objectives in accordance with CBC/Radio-Canada policies.
We are looking for a candidate with strong leadership skills with proven change management skills. You will be a key player in ensuring operational efficiency and continuous process improvement.
We are looking for a candidate with the following:
University degree in a field related to the position or equivalent.
At least seven (7) or more years of experience in project management and process development for the implementation of Marketing projects, including production.
At least seven (7) or more years of experience in custom pricing and production (on location and on set).
Three (3) to five (5) years experience in team management.
Solid knowledge of digital platforms; social strategy, television and the media industry as a whole.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent judgment, initiative, self-reliance.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative strategies and solutions.
Adaptability to constant change and demonstrated ability to manage change with teams.
Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
Experience analyzing the success of client advertising campaigns/post analysis.
Experience gathering research and presentation material(s) to support sales proposals.
Strong understanding of integrated marketing, digital, social and promotional marketing disciplines.
Advanced project management skills and ability to thrive under pressure, juggling multiple deadlines. Ability to think and act strategically to ensure the right activities are conducted in support of business objectives.
Strong presentation skills are a must!
Travel and/or weekend/off hours work may be required for executions of client related activations.
