Job summary

Lawrence Elementary School within Living Sky School Division is seeking a permanent POD Full-Time Educational Assistant (1.0 FTE) to support student learning and inclusivity at the school. The successful applicant will assist in core subjects in small groups and in the classroom, fostering engagement and inclusion.

Minimum Grade 12 plus one year childcare experience is required; a post-secondary certificate in Early Learning & Childcare is an asset.

Qualifications

This posting is for a Permanent POD Full-Time 1.0 FTE Educational Assistant Position with initial placement being at Lawrence Elementary School, commencing as soon as possible. Educational Assistants are an important part of the school team and promote engagement, participation and success of students.The successful applicant will support core subject areas in both small groups and in the classroom.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one (1) year relevant childcare experience
• Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program would be considered an asset
