Job summary

Living Sky School Division No. 202 is seeking a dedicated Educational Assistant to join Lawrence Elementary School. You will help foster an inclusive, joyful learning environment, support students in small groups and the classroom, and promote engagement and success across core subjects.

The successful candidate will have a Grade 12 education and a relevant childcare credential, with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to thrive in a team-driven school community.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one year relevant childcare experience.
• Post-secondary certificate in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent would be asset.

This posting is for a Permanent Full-Time 1.0 FTE Educational Assistant Position at Lawrence Elementary School, commencing November 2, 2026. Educational Assistants are an important part of the school team and promote engagement, participation and success of students. The successful applicant will support core subject areas in both small groups and in the classroom.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one (1) year relevant childcare experience
• Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program would be considered an asset
