Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Law Clerk in Wills & Estates to contribute to our team's success. The role offers a hybrid work environment and requires a detail-oriented, reliable, and organized individual capable of managing multiple priorities independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities
  1. Handle all aspects of estate administration from start to finish.
  2. Attend as a second witness for client signatures.
  3. Review and prepare estate accounts.
  4. Prepare court documents, including applications for estate trustees and contested passing of accounts.
  5. Oversee and maintain Wills and Trust databases and vaults.
  6. Communicate professionally with clients and internal teams.
  7. Produce high-quality work and take initiative.
  8. Maintain confidentiality at all times.
Minimum Requirements
  1. At least eight years of experience as a wills and estates law clerk.
  2. Post-secondary education in law clerk or legal assistant programs.
  3. Ability to adapt to changing demands and work under pressure.
  4. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  5. Team-oriented with excellent client service skills.
  6. Proficiency with docketing and legal databases.
Skills
  1. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
  2. Willingness to learn specialized wills and trusts software.
  3. Excellent communication skills.
  4. Ability to prioritize and work independently.
  5. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
