Nova Scotia Health is seeking a Laundry Worker for the Western Zone at Valley Regional Hospital. Reporting to the Assistant Manager, you will help ensure safe operation of laundry equipment and continual processing of soiled and clean laundry to supply clean linen to hospital units.
The role requires Grade 12 or equivalent, infection control knowledge, WHMS training, and may involve shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. Bilingual abilities are an asset.

Reporting to the Assistant Manager, the Laundry Worker works to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the department equipment, in accordance with standards, regulations, and department policies; and ensures the continuous processing of soiled and clean laundry and linen products in the department, so as to provide clean and safe products to be used by the laundry customers, in appropriate quantities; and to carry out the above functions in a professional manner, that achieves the mission, goals, and objectives of the Nova Scotia Health.
