Job summary

Northern Health - BC in Fort St. John Hospital is seeking a dedicated Laundry Worker II for a Casual position at the Fort St. John Hospital. You will operate and load/unload laundry equipment and prepare linens according to established standards and procedures.

This role may supervise staff, schedule assignments, and coordinate training under the supervision of the Manager or designate. This is a casual, on-site position in Fort St. John, BC.

Responsibilities

• Operate and load/unload designated laundry equipment.
• Collect, weigh, sort, and prepare linens according to standards and procedures.
• Provide supervision to designated staff by scheduling and coordinating work assignments and related training.

Job description

We are currently looking for a hard working and dedicated /Laundry Worker to fill a Casual position at the Fort St. John Hospital.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, the Laundry Worker II performs a variety of duties for Laundry Services such as operating and loading/unloading designated equipment, and collecting, weighing, sorting, and preparing linens in accordance with established standards and required operational procedures. This position may also provide supervision to designated staff by performing duties such as scheduling and coordinating work assignments and determining related training and orientation requirements.
