Job Summary

Performs the day-to-day operations of the house/hotel laundry.

• Job Title: Laundry Attendant (Part Time)
• Reports To: Executive Housekeeper
• Department: Housekeeping

Starting wage for the position will be CA$20.23 on probation and will increase to CA$25.29 after probation is completed. Further, after 6 months, the rate will increase to CA$26.04.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year cleaning experience in a hotel or related industry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of guests, employees, and management.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Good oral communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.

Daily Tasks

• Wash, dry, and prepare required par stock of all linen for guest rooms and Food and Beverage Departments.
• Keep accurate records of daily productivity.
• Wash all bath and bed linens, ensuring the highest standards in texture and appearance are maintained, in line with hotel standards.
• Fold and count quantities completed each day.
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
