Job summary

Bridgemans Services Group is seeking a Laundry Attendant to service guests and crew aboard the MV Saga X, alongside Squamish, BC. This rotational position offers 28 days on, 14 days off, with an hourly wage and extended health benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Sort and organize laundry items by type, color and fabric.
  • Operate commercial laundry equipment (washing machines, dryers, ironing).
  • Ensure items are cleaned, dried and pressed before returning to guests or crew.
  • Identify and treat stains and problem areas on clothing and linens.
  • Maintain accurate records of laundry activities and inventory.
  • Order and manage inventory of laundry supplies and equipment.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments for smooth operations.
  • Follow safety and sanitation protocols to protect guests and crew.
  • Assist with other tasks as needed, including cleaning or inventory management.

Schedule:

Getting you to and from the floatelis completely seamless and stress-free. Bridgemans pays for your flights (from major Canadian cities) and transportation to and from the project site, ensuring your travel is fully arranged and supported for every shift rotation.

Rotational schedule may vary by department but is typically 28 days on/14 days off.

Key Responsibilities

  • Required to hold valid MED Domestic Vessel Safety certificate, Crowd and Crisis Management certificate, marine medical certificate, which employer will support arranging and subsidizing
Working Conditions
  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50lbs
  • Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling and lifting
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
