Job summary

West Edmonton Mall Property Inc. is seeking a part-time Laundry Attendant to maintain clean linens and towels in-house. You will count, sort, fold, and place items on designated shelving while following supervisory instructions.

You must be able to stand up to eight hours, lift heavy objects, and work independently with flexible shifts including days, evenings, and weekends. Prior cleaning experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• Able to lift heavy objects.
• Previous cleaning experience is a definite asset.

Responsibilities

• Counting of linens as they are processed and returning to laundry for accurate record keeping.
• Place linens on designated shelving in the linen rooms.
• Fold towels and other linens which are washed in house and place them on designated shelving in the linen room.
• Clean equipment, linen trucks, shelving and the linen room floor on a daily basis.
• Follow instructions as per laundry supervisor.
• Participate in linen inventory.
• Sort and prepare outgoing linens in emergency situations.
• Sorting, washing and drying of in-house linens.
• Other responsibilities as required.

• Counting of linens as they are processed and returning to laundry for accurate record keeping.
• Place linens on designated shelving in the linen rooms.
• Fold towels and other linens which are washed in house and place them on designated shelving in the linen room.
• Clean equipment, linen trucks, shelving and the linen room floor on a daily basis.
• Follow instructions as per laundry supervisor.
• Participate in linen inventory.
• Sort and prepare outgoing linens in emergency situations.
