Specific Skills

We are searching for an attentive Laundry Attendant to support the functions of our year-round Full-Service Hotel. The Laundry Attendant's responsibilities include cleaning, pressing, and folding linens & terry and other textile articles. You should demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Cleaning and maintaining a full-service hotel to make sure that it meets any housekeeping sanitation requirements and provides a comfortable space for guests. Laundry attendants must be able to efficiently preform all duties to Manitoulin Hotel & Conference Centres standards and perform all other duties in the time frames indicated to them by management. Willingness to learn new cleaning methods and how to use various pieces of equipment, ability to adapt to different situations and change work processes to accommodate guest needs, ability to take criticism, listening skills to make sure that they are meeting the needs of their clients for cleanliness and sanitation standards, good customer service skills, reliability, organisational skills, Integrity and honesty, high energy levels.
