Job summary

West Edmonton Mall Property Inc. is seeking a Laundry Attendant to handle cleansing, folding, and sorting linens in the in-house laundry department. You will count linens, place them on shelving, and ensure the laundry area stays clean and organized.

The role requires standing for long periods, physical strength to lift items, and the ability to work independently or with minimal supervision. Flexible days, evenings, and weekends are expected as part of full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for up to eight hours daily.
• Able to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Previous cleaning experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Counting of linens as they are processed and returning to laundry for accurate record keeping.
• Place linens on designated shelving in the linen rooms.
• Fold towels and other linens which are washed in house and place them on designated shelving in the linen room.
• Clean equipment, linen trucks, shelving and the linen room floor on a daily basis.
• Follow instructions as per laundry supervisor.
• Participate in linen inventory.
• Sort and prepare outgoing linens in emergency situations.
• Sorting, washing and drying of in-house linens.
• Drive and transport laundry between Fantasyland Hotel and West Edmonton Mall Inn as required.
• Other responsibilities as required.

Terms Of Employment
