Job summary

Running Room Langley is seeking a Part-Time Store Assistant Manager to join the Langley location in Willowbrook Park Shopping Centre. The role involves helping customers, making product recommendations, and sharing store responsibilities with the manager.

You will operate the cash register and contribute to a clean, well-presented shopping environment. The ideal candidate loves running and fitness, can work both weekdays and weekends, and communicates clearly in English.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is a plus.
• Able to work weekdays and weekends.
• Clear verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Be a friendly and knowledgeable resource for customers and make product recommendations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Be a friendly and knowledgeable resource for every customer, answer customer questions, and make product recommendations
• Connect with every customer by asking open-ended questions to assess needs
• Share the responsibility of running the store with the manager
• Operate the cash register and use the computer for business tasks and product research
• Keep the store clean, tidy, and attractive by following merchandising standards

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Confident and comfortable engaging with customers to deliver a positive experience
• Experienced Runner with a love of the sport and of the running community
• Part Time Store Assistant manager 20-30hrs/week.
• Motivated to achieve great results because of one's enthusiasm for the running, walking, and fitness environment
• Love of learning and ability to grasp new concepts and product knowledge quickly
• Self-motivated to complete tasks or activities with little supervision
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively in verbal and written English
• Available weekdays and weekends!!
