Universal Group is hiring a Lane Closure Technician to support road safety through setup, maintenance, and removal of traffic control measures in work zones across the lower mainland. You will lead Traffic Control operations, ensure safety, and coordinate with contractors across heavy underground, utility, and paving projects.

You must have BC LCT experience and TCP certification, hold a valid driver’s license, and be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather.

Formación

• Minimum 6 months of BC LCT experience.
• Current TCP certification recognized by WorkSafeBC or equivalent provincial regulator.
• Driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Possession of a smartphone with data plan.

Responsabilidades

• Lead traffic control, guiding setup and tear-down of signs and work zone delineations.
• Set up traffic control zones and provide clear traffic directions.
• Monitor traffic and work zone; adjust as scope changes.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance for workers and the public.
