Job summary

JardinPro in Quebec, Saint-Denis-de-Brompton, is seeking a Landscape Labourer to support residential and commercial grounds maintenance on-site. You will read plans, plan operations, and work with crews to maintain lawns, gardens, and trees.

This role requires 2–3 years of experience, no formal degree, and a valid driver's license. You will handle applying lawn products and coordinating planting and tree work, performing physically demanding tasks, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• No degree, certificate or diploma required.
• 2 years to less than 3 years experience in landscaping or related field.
• Residential landscaping projects experience.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints or other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation
• Read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements
• Manage landscaping projects
• Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
• Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides and other lawn care products
• Direct crews who maintain the health and appearance of golf courses and their surrounding landscapes
• Examine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems and disease
• Plan and co-ordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental uses and other purposes
• Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens
• Plant and move trees
• Tree removal
• Work with minimal supervision
• Maintain clean and safe work environment
