Job summary

Fossil Landscape Construction is seeking an experienced landscape technician to operate on-site across residential and commercial properties in the Vancouver area. The role involves hands-on pruning, lawn care, planting, and maintenance to ensure healthy, attractive landscapes.

You will work outdoors in all weather, requiring physical stamina and the ability to travel between sites. A valid driver’s license is beneficial as the role covers various locations in urban settings.

Qualifications

• 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in landscaping.
• No degree, certificate or diploma required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work.

Responsibilities

• Trim trees to achieve pruning objectives including crown cleaning, thinning, raising, reduction, restoration, espalier pruning, vista pruning.
• Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens.
• Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides and other lawn care products.
• Inspect health of lawns and plantings; diagnose problems and disease.
• Plant and move trees, shrubs, and flowers; maintain private and public landscapes.

• Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens
