Job description

Employer: Planta Landscape Inc.

Job Location: Based at 6040 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB, but required to work in various locations in the Calgary region. The employer provides transportation to sites outside of the city limits.
Wage: $25-35 per hour (based on experience, salary increases as per company policy)
Employment terms and conditions: Seasonal Employment, Full time (30-50 hours per week, weather dependent), Overtime, Morning, Day, Weekend

Duties:
· Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens
· Plan and construct landscaped environments which may include trees, shrubberies, lawns, fences, decks, patios, and other landscape structures
· Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides, and other lawn care products
· Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
· Plant and move trees
· Level earth to fine-grade specifications
· Rake and collect refuse
· Cut grass
· Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants
· Cart and spread topsoil and other materials
· Lay sod or seed
· Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
· Dig ditches and trenches
· Installation of irrigation and drainage
· Build patios with pavers
· Build natural and manufactured stone retaining walls
