Job summary

CSL Group Ltd. is seeking an experienced Landscape Maintenance Supervisor to lead multiple commercial landscape crews across Ontario.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality work, safety, client satisfaction, and staff development in a year-round, full-time capacity. The successful candidate will coach crew leaders, coordinate schedules, manage resources, and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring compliance with company safety policies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial landscape maintenance experience.
• Experience supervising multiple crews or landscape operations.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Experience managing client relationships in a commercial environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support multiple landscape maintenance crews across various properties.
• Coach, mentor, and develop Crew Leaders and team members.
• Schedule work and allocate labour, equipment, and materials to maximize productivity.
• Perform regular site inspections to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met.
• Build strong relationships with clients and address questions or concerns professionally.
• Identify enhancement opportunities and collaborate with sales/ops to develop solutions.
• Ensure crews follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Manage equipment usage and maintenance.
• Complete daily reports and production tracking.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of field employees.
• Assist with winter snow and ice management operations, including supervision during snow events.

What You'll Do

As a Landscape Maintenance Supervisor, you'll oversee multiple commercial landscape maintenance crews while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising and supporting multiple landscape maintenance crews across various commercial properties
• Coaching, mentoring, and developing Crew Leaders and team members
• Scheduling work and allocating labour, equipment, and materials to maximize productivity
• Performing regular site inspections to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met
• Building strong relationships with clients and addressing questions or concerns professionally
• Identifying enhancement opportunities and working with the sales and operations teams to develop solutions
• Ensuring crews follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Managing equipment usage and ensuring proper care and maintenance
• Completing daily reports, site inspections, production tracking, and other administrative responsibilities
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of field employees
• Assisting with snow and ice management operations during the winter season, including supervising crews during snow events

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of commercial landscape maintenance experience
• Previous experience supervising multiple crews or managing landscape operations
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Experience managing client relationships in a commercial environment
• Strong understanding of commercial landscape maintenance practices and equipment
• Ability to identify problems, make decisions, and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
• Valid G Driver's Licence with a clean driving record
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and digital reporting systems
• Landscape Technician, Horticulture, or related education is considered an asset

Working Conditions

• Outdoor work in a variety of weather conditions throughout the year
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Occasional overtime and travel between job sites as required
• Participation in winter snow and ice management operations, including on-call responsibilities during snow events
