Job summary

CSL Group Ltd. is seeking a Landscape Maintenance Supervisor to lead commercial landscape teams across Ontario, delivering high-quality work and building strong client relationships.

This hands-on role emphasizes developing people, safety, and operational excellence, with year-round, full-time responsibilities. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial landscape maintenance, proven leadership, and the ability to manage crews, schedules, and safety programs while supporting snow and ice

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial landscape maintenance experience.
  • Experience supervising multiple crews or landscape operations.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Experience managing client relationships in a commercial environment.
  • Strong understanding of commercial landscape maintenance practices and equipment.
  • Valid G Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and digital reporting systems.
  • Landscape Technician or related education is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising and supporting multiple landscape maintenance crews across various commercial properties.
  • Coaching, mentoring, and developing Crew Leaders and team members.
  • Scheduling work and allocating labour, equipment, and materials to maximize productivity.
  • Performing regular site inspections to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met.
  • Building strong relationships with clients and addressing questions or concerns professionally.
  • Identifying enhancement opportunities and working with the sales and operations teams to develop solutions.
  • Ensuring crews follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Managing equipment usage and ensuring proper care and maintenance.
  • Completing daily reports, site inspections, production tracking, and other administrative responsibilities.
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of field employees.
  • Assisting with snow and ice management operations during the winter season, including supervising crews during snow events.

What You'll Do

As a Landscape Maintenance Supervisor, you'll oversee multiple commercial landscape maintenance crews while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience supervising multiple crews or managing landscape operations
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Experience managing client relationships in a commercial environment
  • Strong understanding of commercial landscape maintenance practices and equipment
  • Ability to identify problems, make decisions, and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid G Driver's Licence with a clean driving record
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and digital reporting systems
  • Landscape Technician, Horticulture, or related education is considered an asset
