Creative Roots Landscaping Ltd. in Kelowna is seeking a Landscape Maintenance Apprentice who loves outdoor spaces and garden care. You will work closely with the Maintenance Foreman to ensure every garden exceeds expectations and to develop hands-on skills in maintenance, irrigation, and seasonal plant care.

Qualifications

• Horticultural Certificate or 6+ months of hands-on landscape maintenance experience.
• IPM Certificate and pesticide dispenser’s license (preferred).
• First Aid Certification (WCB Level 1) and valid BC Driver’s License with a clean abstract.
• Familiarity with full-service lawn and shrub bed care, pruning techniques, and seasonal plant maintenance.
• Eye for detail and pride in your work, ensuring every property is picture-perfect.
• A passion for growth—personally, professionally, and as a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns, shrub beds, trees, and specimen plants with precision and care.
• Assist in pruning, cultivating, and seasonal garden preparations.
• Oversee and maintain irrigation systems, water features, and low-voltage lighting.
• Ensure tools and equipment are ready, safe, and in excellent working condition.
• Support and motivate your team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and with excellence.
• Deliver outstanding customer service, building relationships with clients who trust us with their outdoor spaces.
