Job summary

Matrix Landscaping in Belle River, Ontario is seeking a Landscape Labourer who is self-motivated with good interpersonal skills. This permanent, full-time role offers 30–50 hours weekly and is paid $17.00 to $29.00 per hour, negotiable.

The candidate will assist with landscape construction and must be able to work outdoors in various conditions. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of related experience, is fluent in English, and can perform tasks such as pruning, mowing, sod/seeding, and equipment

Qualifications

• Fluent English required; clear communication in a outdoor setting.
• Minimum high school graduation; reliable and safety-conscious.
• 1–2 years of landscape-related experience preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Able to work long hours, in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape construction tasks on sites.
• Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants; cut grass.
• Rake and collect litter; clean up job sites.
• Lay sod or seed; plant bulbs, shrubs and trees.
• Apply fertilisers and water plants; maintain lawns and gardens.
• Operate and maintain landscape equipment.

• The candidate will be expected to assist with landscape construction.
• The candidate must weed, prune, and trim trees and plants.
