  • The candidate must plan and construct landscaped environments that may include trees, shrubberies, lawns, fences, decks, patios, and other landscape structures.
  • The candidate must plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens.
  • The candidate must plant and move trees.
Job Requirements
  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate or diploma from a one-year to two-year College, CEGEP, or other non-university program.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must have Horticulturist Trade Certification, Landscape Gardener Trade Certification, Landscape Architecture Technologist Certificate, Landscape Architecture Technician Certificate, Canadian Nursery Landscape Association (CNLA) certification, and a Chemical application certificate or licence.
  • The candidate should be client focused.
  • The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
  • The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
  • The candidate should be organised and flexible in nature.
  • The candidate should be reliable.
