Job summary

International Landscaping Inc. is seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Team Leader to lead a crew on residential and commercial projects in Milton, Ontario.

This full-time role requires hands-on leadership, site organization, and strict adherence to schedules and quality standards. You will read landscape plans, coordinate materials and equipment, supervise safety, and mentor crew members to maintain high workmanship and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscape construction with leadership preferred.
• Strong experience with precast pavers and retaining wall systems.
• Knowledge of excavation, base preparation, compaction, grading, elevations, and drainage.
• Ability to read plans and construct work accurately to specification.
• Ability to lead, delegate, plan ahead, and maintain project schedules.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s licence.

We are growing and actively looking for people to work FULL TIME for both the residential and commercial sides of the business.

Pay: CA$28.00-CA$40.00 per hour
(We are also hiring Lead Hands)

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a landscape construction crew.
• Organize daily site activities and delegate responsibilities.
• Maintain project schedules, productivity, and construction timelines.

• Ensure projects are built accurately and to specification.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, deliveries, and site requirements.
• Communicate professionally with clients, project managers, subcontractors, and other trades.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, organization, and quality control.
• Identify site challenges and provide practical construction solutions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site.
• Train and support crew members while promoting teamwork and productivity.

Required Experience & Skills

• Previous landscape construction experience, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong experience with precast pavers and retaining wall systems.
• Knowledge of excavation, base preparation, compaction, grading, elevations, and drainage.
• Ability to read plans and construct work accurately to specification.
• Ability to lead, delegate, plan ahead, and maintain project schedules.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s licence.
