Job summary

International Landscaping Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanic Shop Assistant to join our family-run team in a full-time role. You will organize the mechanic office, manage parts lookups, and assist with shipping, receiving, and invoicing for repairs.

The ideal candidate is team-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn, with a basic understanding of mechanical parts and equipment operations. A Class G license is preferred, and a valid license is required.

Qualifications

• Experienced shop assistant with basic mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to organize and maintain a mechanic's office.
• Team player who can work with others and follow instruction.
• Eager to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to accuracy for parts lookup and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain mechanic office and records.
• Parts lookup for mechanics and inventory management.
• Shipping, receiving and parts ordering; enter accounts payable for repairs.
• Assist with inspections, task planning and organizing daily work.
• Pickup and delivery of parts and equipment; ensure timely availability.

Pay: CA$20.00-CA$25.00 per hour

• Parts lookup for Mechanics
• Shipping, Receiving, and parts ordering
• Enter accounts payable for truck, equipment & parts repairs
• Ability to use and modify forms for annual and daily inspections
• Inventory Management
• Job task planning & organizing
• Ability to pick up & deliver parts & equipment
• Must have a valid G driver's license
• General mechanical aptitude and tool experience
• Eager to learn
