Term: Permanent

Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)

Wage: CAD$34.50 per hour

Precision Luxury Landscaping Inc. is a Toronto based landscaping company. It specializes in residential and commercial design/build projects including residential landscaping and commercial landscaping.

Main Duties:

  • Take part in the development of designs together with clients and project managers.
  • Prepare manual and AutoCAD drawings.
  • Prepare listings of quantities of required materials from conceptual drawings.
  • Create 3-D modeling and rendering of design projects.
  • Understand and apply requirements of building codes, zoning by-laws, site requirements, grading reports, arborist reports, engineering reports, and other technical documents.
  • Apply for building permits and manage the application process.

Skills, Work Experience and other Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • At least 2-year college diploma in Architectural Technology or closely related field.
  • Good understanding of Canadian building codes, zoning by-laws, site requirements, grading reports, arborist reports, engineering reports, and other technical documents.
  • Good knowledge and experience with AutoCAD, 3-D modeling, Adobe Photoshop and SketchUp
  • Experience with applying for Canadian building permits and managing the application process is strongly preferred.
  • Good oral and written English language skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
